Dr. Angela Lewis - Biography

Dr Angela Lewis is a skilled workplace and university educator, with a distinguished publications record on issues related to the societal impact of technology. Most of her articles are available for viewing here.

Angela Lewis was awarded a PhD from Deakin University in October 2006 for a thesis on women learning IT in the workplace. She is an AITD Accredited Training Practitioner, holds the latest TAA40104 Cert IV in Training and Assessment and also has a Masters degree in Education.

She presents IT classes and workshops in both the government and corporate sector and works on various project teams as required. Many years of classroom facilitation in both Australia and Asia ensure she has a diverse range of experience and her style of delivery is colloborative, relaxed and inclusive.

Angela is also a sessional academic with the Faculty of Education, Monash University and a registered but non practicising counsellor.

As writing and researching about IT and society greatly interests her, she is also a member of "Women Internet Researchers" a directory of women around the world, who think and write about the Internet, mostly from an academic view.
